Hi,
I am trying to take a backup of the firmware of a westell 7500 adsl router
via jtag; the board is based on BCM6358 and there are two flash memories:
ST M29W320 and ST M29W160.
Unfortunately this chip is not supported by HairyDairyMaid v4.8 cshore2, this
is what I get:
# ./debrick -probeonly
====================================
WRT54G/GS EJTAG Debrick Utility v4.8
====================================
Probing bus ... Done
Instruction Length set to 5
CPU Chip ID: 00100100001100011000000101111111 (2431817F)
*** Unknown or NO CPU Chip ID Detected ***
*** Possible Causes:
1) WRT54G/GS is not Connected.
2) WRT54G/GS is not Powered On.
3) Improper JTAG Cable.
4) Unrecognized CPU Chip ID.
Is there any jtag utility that support this chip? if not, which information
do I need on the chip to patch HairyDairyMaid?
Best
