Hello, I'm Ál Cano Santana, from Guifi.net free network in Catalunya. We're making some parts of our mesh network with good and cheap router TP-Link WDR3500 with OpenWrt. That router has a AR934X built-in switch that is not so good and drop vlan tagged packets on switch, but it drops only in 802.1q, not in IEEE 802.1ad.
So if we can implement UCI support for 802.1ad we can solve this problem.
Now mac-vlan is implemented in uci and works so fine, but as I saw only supports 802.1q, and we have the problem that our switch drop 802.1q, but we test with 802.1ad vlan packets and they aren't dropped.
Can you help us to implement this feature?
Sorry if I didn't explain it well, I can try to do it again if you need it.
Thanks.
